Downtown has always had fine dining up and down Montegue Street, but recent developement in the area is raising the pitch in both dining choices, and entertainment.

One of the quite gems of the entire city, the area around Fulton Ferry has an assortment of trendy night spots and eateries, along old Fulton Street and Main Street. On the Waterfront is the Chamber Music Barge. Up on Flabush Avenue BAM is spreading out with the new Majestic Theater, along with the Rose and and Main Opera Hall.

Of course, Junior's Cheese Cake and Gage and Tollner's still serve up good meals, and a number of decent eateries are developing into Fort Green along Dekalb Ave.
